Friends – I’ve been publishing these Cannabis Musings for about five years now on a semi-weekly basis, starting out with snarky observations about the early industry cash grab, to a more sober offering distributed through my old law firm’s platform, to the temperate Substack dispatch that it is today. At heart, I’ve always tried to provide an iconoclastic understanding of the industry that I’ve dedicated my career to for over five years.
In order to make Cannabis Musings even more useful, I’m pleased to announce “Ask the Law-Talking Guy”.
Anyone who becomes a paid subscriber to Cannabis Musings for $5 a month (a bisele gelt, and the minimum Substack will let me charge) may ask me a question, which I’ll answer in a quarterly posting that’ll be available for free to all subscribers. Of course, if you pay me more, or want to just give me money and not ask a question, I’m not gonna kvetch.
A few ground rules:
The question should be about the cannabis industry.
I won’t give legal advice, investment advice, or stock tips.
I won’t criticize any particular person/company or disclose private information.
I may edit lightly your question for clarity.
I reserve the right to reject any question, but if I do, I’ll let you ask a different question.
Let me know if you don’t want your question/answer to be public.
I won’t include your name with the question unless you ask me to.
I’m planning the first Ask the Law-Talking Guy issue of Cannabis Musings for the week of December 4th, right after MJBizCon.
This is a bit of an experiment, one that I see as expanding my engagement with all of you as we continue our journey building this industry. Thank you for your continued readership.
Be seeing you!
